Sous la direction de Denis Huisman / Jaquettes illustrées...

Magnificent complete 6-volume set of the famous "Encyclopédie de la Psychologie," published under the direction of Denis Huisman. This reference work brings together contributions from eminent specialists and scientists of the time. Each volume benefits from a prestigious preface: • General Psychology (Preface by Professor Jean Delay) • Psychology of Family Life (Preface by Professor Robert Debré) • Psychology and Pedagogy (Preface by Professor René Poirier) • Psychoanalysis and Medical Psychology (Preface by Dr. René Held) • Social Psychology (Preface by Marcel Bleustein-Blanchet) • Around Psychology (Preface by Jean Cazeneuve) A major asset for collectors: the removable dust jackets feature an exclusive kinetic and colorful design conceived by the Op Art master, Victor Vasarely. Under the dust jacket, each volume has a luxurious hardcover binding in Bordeaux simulated leather with gold-lettered titles. The interior is extremely rich, printed in two columns and enhanced by impressive iconography: hundreds of photographs, diagrams and illustrations in black and color, both as plates and in the text. Original fabric bookmarks preserved in each volume. Condition: Very good overall. The rigid bindings and interiors are very fresh, clean and sound. The original paper dust jackets are complete but show normal signs of use (slight wear, small creases or tiny tears at the ends and crowns; see photos).
