SOUTHERN AFRICA 1918 After the success of the demonstration flights in the Cape

SOUTHERN AFRICA 1918 After the success of the demonstration flights in the Cape, a number of flights were held in the Transvaal around the Johannesburg area. The cards differed in the Transvaal flight cards did not have the 'Wings', just the Red Cross emblem with a small 'wings' incorporated in the design. Two cards that were on the Benoni 24th Nov flight. One has the light blue printing, the other the dark blue printing. A fine pair of cards on this flight that was raising money for the Red Cross.
