Spalding double-sided enameled porcelain advertising display c.1930s

Spalding double-sided enameled porcelain advertising display c.1930s. Double-sided period advertising flange display features an attractive Spalding logo ringed by "Athletic Goods For Sale Here" text. Intended to be hung protruding outward from a storefront so the consumer could see from down the block that they were approaching a sporting goods vendor, it has been secured within a modern mount which allows for same. As is common to vintage metal signs of this nature, there are areas of scattered surface loss and/or rust. In addition, there is edge wear/chipping and three holes which are likely the result of it having been nailed to a wall.
