Splendid Silver Brooch with Blue Sapphires & Diamonds, ca. 1965

Like a firework in the night sky, the brooch here appears in the brilliance of its blue sapphires and radiant white diamonds. Its shape breaks away from any symmetry in favor of a rich, seemingly random arrangement of airy lightness. The brooch itself uses rhodium-plated silver to restrainedly set the stones. Likewise, the silver forms moving bands that are made to sparkle by diamonds. In all, 41 diamonds and 27 natural sapphires have been worked. The magnificent and large piece of jewellery, which can also be worn as a pendant thanks to hidden eyelets, delights with lightness, light and elegance. A precious jewel that came to us from a distinguished Hamburg household and comes with a certificate from the German Association for Gemstone Evaluation Dar Oberstein confirming the quality of its materials.
