Spring Culinox - Cooking pot set (10) - Copper, Brass, Steel

Elegant vintage Spring Culinox cookware set, Swiss-made, composed of 6 cooking vessels and 4 matching lids. The pieces feature the characteristic construction of the Culinox line: exterior copper and interior stainless steel, with handles, knobs, and lid buttons finished in gold. One piece clearly bears the marking: SPRING CULINOX MADE IN SWITZERLAND 79 The “79” marking places this example around 1979, making it a beautiful Swiss vintage kitchen set from the 1970s. The lot notably includes: a large long-handled frying pan; a long-handled sauté pan/cooking pot with lid; several pots and stews with two handles; four matching copper lids. The different elements are of various sizes, with diameters roughly ranging from 20 to 30 cm. The photos with the ruler are an integral part of the description and allow you to verify the dimensions of each piece. The set has been used and shows a significant, natural patina on the copper, with signs of use, stains, oxidation, and superficial marks corresponding to its age. This patina has been intentionally preserved: the pieces have not been polished to give the future owner the option of maintaining their vintage appearance or restoring the copper to regain a brighter finish. The stainless interiors also show signs of use and a few marks, but overall remain well preserved given the set’s age. The cookware forms a particularly decorative ensemble, with the contrast between patinated copper, stainless steel, and gold-toned handles. It will suit both a vintage high-end cookware enthusiast, Swiss design aficionado, or old culinary objects collector, as well as for everyday use.
