Stanton 681 EEE Calibration Standard top-class element including the original Stanton stylus The Stanton 681 EEE cartridge element was developed as a primary calibration standard for the recording industry and is used in system checks for linearity and equalization. This means that the 681 EEE is guaranteed to meet the specifications entered manually on the calibration card. Very warm-sounding, accurate, and open. As a result, the high end is never harsh. The 681 EEE is astonishingly quiet in the groove and tracks incredibly well (and lightly, at only 1.1–1.25 g). It’s smooth and refined with enormous punch and an extremely high dynamic range. The built-in stylus brush is a nice extra and does an excellent job (this can also be removed). The element and stylus are in very good condition and tested, and it is supplied in a protective case.
