(particular: almost no spots or stains, almost entirely new, neat, fresh and white paper!). Complete. NB: some photos appear yellow due to camera settings, the paper is actually fresh and white! A scarce copy of the States Bible from a unique and very rare printers’ collaboration: the “Gebroeders Keur” in cooperation with Marcus Doornick & Pieter Rotterdam. The collaboration with Marcus Doornick is actually only known from other editions! [EN] Equipped with all 6 fold-out maps: - World Map - Journey of Paradise (Gelegenentheyt Paradys) - Forty-year Journey of the Children of Israel - Jerusalem and the Temple - Promised Land of Canaan - Journeys of Paul All maps are very neat: see the photos. Special details on the World Map: at the time the World Map was issued, the entire world was not yet explored and known. California is drawn as an island, Australia was still largely undiscovered and is labeled as “New Holland”! Just the world map alone is tremendously fascinating! A very charming States Bible. With beautiful, complete and authentically heavy fittings of the so-called outgrowths or heart-motif. Very well closing clasps. Very large and heavy Bible! Equipped with all maps and with beautiful initial capitals and vignettes. Must-have for lovers of the States Translation and Bible maps.
