Statue, Paire de musciennes gardiennes de temple - 17 cm - Teak - 1850

Pair of temple guardian musician women, India, Rajasthan. Hand-carved in teak in the 1850s/1880s and covered with original yellow-orange paint. Very good condition. Each musician measures 17 cm high and weighs 210 g. Retired antiques dealer specializing in Asian arts, my positive feedback rate is 100%. I only sell old objects acquired on site during my numerous travels. These are by no means reproductions. To help you assess the quality of the item, I am including numerous photos taken from various angles. These photos form an integral part of the description. All photos are taken in natural light.
