For sale is a beautiful two-piece set of original vintage Steiff owls (model “Wittie”) from the 1950s to 1970s. An absolute must-have for Steiff collectors and lovers of high-quality nostalgic toys! Details about the owls: • Size: 1 large owl, 1 small owl • Material: High-quality mohair plush with a faithful, speckled feather look. Glass/plastic eyes, feet and beak made of felt. Unfortunately, the filling in the feet of the large owl is coming out. See photo. • Condition & markings: • The small owl is in collector’s condition and still has the original red “Wittie” chest badge as well as the typical Steiff button with a yellow ear tuft. • The large owl captivates with its dense plush fur and its expressive gaze.
