Victorian SilveredFooted Dish / Tazza – Henry Williamson Ltd – Birmingham 1900 Object Description: Exquisite and elegant antique footed dish (tazza / confection dish) silver-plated, made in 1900 in the late Victorian era. The piece is distinguished by its fine Neoclassical ornamentation: The inner rim of the bowl features artfully worked floral medallions, linked together by delicate bow and ribbon garlands. Both the outwardly protruding footed stand and the upper rim of the bowl are adorned with a precise beaded edge embossing. The column of the foot also features a subtle, elegant fluting.
