Exceptional 3 piece Tiffany & Co Japanese sterling teaset including a teapot, creamer, and open sugsar. Each piece is exquisitely decorated with various Japanese inspired scenes. The teapot displays two walking robed figures and leafy grape clusters; the creamer is decorated with chrysanthemums, flowers, a teapot, and a seated scholar with a scroll; and the open sugar is etched with two robed figures standing in front of a bridge, and a crane flying beneath the sun. Each objects' handle and/or spout displays a basket weave motif, and is further accented by ornate, geometric borders to the openings. Each object is stamped to the underside, "Tiffany & Co 4676 M 186 Sterling-Silver". Total approx. weight of the 3 pc. teaset is 17.54 troy oz (gross). From an E 70th St, Manhattan estate.
