Stormy Sea by Gesa Reuter Painting 28.0 x 28.0 :: One of my black and white paintings about the sea with its different light shades when it is rainy and stormy. At the sea you can always see the light shining through and that is a great metaphor for life. Here you can find many many thin layers of color to make the painting feel really airy and light. This is enhanced by my usual watercolor techniques and the light layers of gouache inks and little acrylics. The painting comes with an elegant slim silver-gray wooden frame with shadow gap and that suits the painting very well. Of course you can have it also unframed if you prefer.
