Strati, Luca - Giclée - Poison Ivy

Luca Strati was born in Reggio Calabria in 1981, a student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, with a predilection for sculpture. His artistic journey began in childhood, as the son of the Reggio painter Mario Strati; he soon developed a passion for drawing and for comic-book and artistic painting. Between 1995 and 1997 he attended the International School of Comics in Florence, while continuing his classical artistic studies in parallel. He attends the Florence Academy of Fine Arts. He works as a freelance illustrator, concept designer and sculptor. He was the author of some artworks for the Italian fanzine dedicated to Iron Maiden. In 2013 he began teaching anatomy and painting techniques at the International Comics School in Jesi, now renamed ACCA ACADEMY. In 2022 the Steampunk Art Nouveau Tarot, published by Scarabeo, was released; he worked as a concept artist for Kimera Models and as a cover artist for Heavy Metal, Dynamite Comics, Zenescope, Bad Bug Media, Mount Olympus Comics, Laguna Studios, Obscure Comics, Space Between Entertainment. He has illustrated 4 card decks for Marvel and DC for Upper Deck Company. The Fine Art giclée prints are produced on German Hahnemühle paper 310gsm with Epson SureColor 44” 12-color. This combination represents one of the highest levels ever for photographic and art reproduction (Fine Art). Each component of the equation contributes to a final result of museum-quality, both visually and to the touch. The German Hahnemühle 310gsm paper has Museum-grade preservation (ISO 9706): Made 100% in α-cellulose, it is completely acid-free and contains a negligible percentage of optical brighteners (OBA). This means it does not yellow and does not deteriorate over time, keeping the print intact for over 100 years.
