Sustainable ring made of platinum with diamonds & "Swiss Blue" blue

An octagonal-cut blue topaz of an intense blue color shines in the center of this ring. It is set in bright platinum, the white shimmer of which is reflected in the stone - creating a fascinating interplay of cool shine and vibrant color that gives the ring its unmistakable radiance. The topaz is held by four prongs in the corners, which enclose it securely yet airily. The setting is also adorned with four sparkling diamonds, and fine milgrains adorn the frame surrounding the gemstone. Large, radiant gemstones in white precious metal settings were so popular in the 1920s and 1930s that we come across them again and again in old jewelry catalogs. This ring from our workshop is inspired by these designs and takes their idea and reinterprets it in luxurious, sustainable materials. It is made from recycled platinum, which we have extracted from old pieces of jewellery, just like the vintage diamonds. The result is a piece of jewellery that captures the timeless beauty of Art Deco while looking to the future - around one hundred years after designs like this first captured hearts.
