Sword - Bokken in Legno, "Maestro Ujio - L'Ultimo Samurai" - Japan - 2000-2010

If you’re a true martial arts cinema aficionado and student of samurai history, you can’t miss having this iconic wooden sword (Bokken) in your collection. An evocative piece that immediately evokes the legendary rain-soaked training scene in the cinematic masterpiece The Last Samurai (2003). The two protagonists are: - Captain Nathan Algren (Tom Cruise): The American officer taken prisoner and brought to the samurai village. In this scene he wields a red/brown bokken and is determined to learn the art of the sword, continually rising from the ground every time he’s knocked down in the mud. - Master Ujio (Hiroyuki Sanada): The stern and undefeated fencing master of the village, right-hand of the samurai leader Katsumoto. He also wields a bokken of the same color and style and faces Algren to test his resilience, respect, and willpower. The duel unfolds at the center of the village as it pours rain. Ujio intimidates Algren by ordering him to drop the sword, but Algren — not yet speaking the language and repeatedly struck — stubbornly grips the bokken and rises again. It’s the turning scene of the film; indeed it is right here that Algren earns the respect of Ujio and the entire samurai village for the first time, proving the true spirit of the warrior (Bushido)! The Bokken for sale is the perfect reproduction, complete with the Tsuba (guard) and the distinctive red and gold decorative cord tied to the base of the guard. Fluid line, solid and finely finished, perfect for display, cosplay, or training in martial arts (Kenjutsu, Kendo, Aikido). Why should a true FAN have it? It’s not a mere training object; it’s a piece of atmosphere. Displayed on a wall-mounted stand or on a desk stand in your study or living room, it immediately captures the attention of anyone who enters. Feel the discipline, the way of the warrior (Bushido), and the epic of one of cinema history’s most famous battles and trainings!
