T-56. Confederate Currency. 1863 $100. PMG Choice Uncirculated 64. No. 1781. Plate D. A better example of this short-lived design which features a printed back which was an uncommon sight on later Confederate types and one that was later abandoned altogether as the Confederacy's fortunes waned following the Battle of Gettysburg in 1863.
