Table lamp (2) - Carriage Lamp - Gilt brass - Carriage lamps

This is a pair of carriage lamps (often also called railway lanterns or brass carriage lamps), probably vintage and converted and adapted for electric use with a cord and switch, in this case used as bedside lamps with a single switch and functioning. Note that the back of the lamps features the classic red rear light glass. Items with wear and character and some dents; take a good look at the photos that complete the description.
