Refined and excellent antique dining service for 12 people with 12 coordinated napkins, part of grandma's family heirloom. The set was commissioned and executed entirely by hand by the nuns (Order of Redontoriste), renowned for their mastery, precision and meticulous sartorial quality in embroidery and carving in their convent workshops. The service is made in a fine thick linen-blend fabric of high density and quality. Details of the workmanship: Technique of workmanship: Very dense hand embroidery with Cutwork motif, ultra-fine needle/ crochet inserts, artistic and floral geometric reliefs in satin stitch and grass stitch. Size 240x160 Napkins 38x38 Complete service. The service, new, has been carefully stored in the family trunk over the decades. Transparency note: As highlighted in the detail photos, a single napkin shows a light stain from storage in the trunk, entirely natural for antique fabrics and removable with a delicate wash. All the rest of the service is in excellent condition, with no defects or wear.
