A distinguished RARITY within the Thai series, struck only three years after mechanical minting technology was first introduced at the Royal Thai Mint. The elephant is a tad weakly detailed, as is the norm for the type (we note that examples with a bold elephant are typically official restrikes of 1894), but the surfaces are admirably Choice with fresh satiny luster throughout and a pleasing goldenrod coloration.
