A very fine, rich lifetime impression of Robison’s rare first state (of seven), printed with a light, selectively wiped tone, from the First Edition, First and Second Issues, published by G. Bouchard, Rome, 1749–circa 1758. With wide margins around the uncleaned plate edges. – With the characteristic flattened central fold and some associated rubbing.
