The Foreign Workers - Marcin Biesek

The Foreign Workers by Marcin Biesek Painting 23.0 x 51.0 :: This artwork is inspired by The Gleaners by Jean-François Millet. My painting shows the workers during the hot and windy day at East Coast Park. East Coast Park in Singapore is mainly dedicated to entertainment exercise swimming and enjoyment. Sometimes I can’t see what is beyond the landscape. Even though the landscapes are filled with hundreds of ships in the sea we still enjoy polluted water. This time it was a bit different. I saw the men working on the beach using tools and digging in the soil. The contrast between the sea colour and their features was extreme. It was powerful enough to make me think about our society.Life is going on and people pass by. Nothing has changed. Artwork is rolled in the tube. :: Type: Painting Medium: Acrylic Style: Contemporary Subject: Politics Width: 23.0 Height: 51.0 Depth: 2 Weight: 4.1 lbs Framed: no :: All art on Zatista is original and signed.
