"The Scorpion" Figurine - Armado Catalano Holding His Sword - Marini & Dufaux - Pixi / Regout - 2002 Limited Edition A superb and imposing hand-painted resin collector’s statuette depicting the charismatic adventurer Armado Catalano, known as “The Scorpion,” the main character of the famous historical comic book series created by artist Enrico Marini and writer Stephen Desberg (published by Dargaud). The sculpture beautifully captures the character’s commanding presence: bare-chested, with black hair blowing in the wind, clad in boots, pants, and a long, bright scarlet red frock coat. He is depicted standing on a circular black pedestal, firmly gripping his long sword with both hands.
