Well-restored album of good quality. This probable re-binding of the original 1938 A5 edition makes this 1942 A17bis edition particularly sought-after (page numbering 4/127). This 20th printing is complete, with fresh covers, four hors-texte present, and original white endpapers. Spine peeling. Interior compact and well fixed, solid. Some of the binding hinges have, in places, been restored, some of which were formerly very neatly repaired with matte tape (see photos – barely visible), likewise for certain bottom-page tears and page 127. White endpapers. Usual signs of wear and staining from use. Careful packaging
