59-BRGSNLRNZ Antique Oval Tray in Painted Tin – Vintage Style / Napoleon III – Hand-Painted Flowers Splendid and refined antique oval tray in painted tin (sheet metal painted), dating to the first half of the 20th century or late 19th century (full Napoleon III / Victorian style). A collectible piece ideal both as a decorative display element and for daily use in classic, rustic, or shabby chic settings. The background features a warm burgundy / dark maroon color tone. In the center stands a wonderful hand-painted floral bouquet, rich in detail, depicting a large central rose surrounded by blue cornflowers and small wild buds. The raised edge presents a pierced-work border with a wavy balcony-like relief. It is adorned along the entire inner rim with delicate scrolls and gilded leafy painted elements. Excellent vintage condition. The surface shows a beautiful patina of time and the typical "craquelé" effect of antique varnish that certifies its authenticity and enhances its historic charm.
