Tressa Vintage FC Étoile-Sporting – Veteran Tournament First Prize – 1960s/70s – NOS Rare and remarkable vintage mechanical wristwatch for men from the Swiss house Tressa Watch Co., based in Bienne. This piece features a customization linked to FC Étoile-Sporting of La Chaux-de-Fonds, a Swiss club founded in 1898, and appears to have been made as a commemorative or prize watch for a veterans tournament. The dial is particularly interesting: at 12 o'clock there is an enamelled coat of arms in red, black and white, accompanied by the inscriptions “TOURNOI VETERAN” and “1er PRIX”. A particularly original watch, probably made as a prize or commemorative piece for a veterans tournament. Specifications : * Brand: Tressa * Origin: Switzerland * Era: late 1960s / early 1970s * Case reference: 201 * Movement: manual-winding mechanical, 17 jewels * Case: stainless steel * Diameter: approx 34–35 mm excluding crown * Case back: screwed, marked « Stainless Steel Back » and « Antimagnetic » * Dial: silver with sunburst finish, applied indices * Crown: signed Tressa * Strap: gray/suede gray with white stitching * Buckle: steel tang Condition : Very good condition, close to NOS (New Old Stock). The case is particularly clean with sharp angles and very little signs of wear. The dial, hands and inscriptions are also very well preserved. The movement has been tested: the watch winds correctly, starts normally and runs. This is an old vintage watch. Precision and water resistance are not guaranteed without recent watchmaking service.
