Trophy of Arms Military Band, Officer’s Shako Plate. A very good and exceedingly scarce Georgian polished bronze example of Regency shape and style, centred with a pre 1837 Royal Coat of Arms, a Garter Belt with the motto title ‘Honi Soit Qui Mal. Y. Pense’, all set within a very elaborate trophy of arms, with musical instruments, flags, weapons, etc., sitting upon a slender wreath of roses, shamrocks and thistles, the reverse with two large soldered loop fixings, the centre slightly polished, otherwise very good condition and scarce £400-£500.
