The theme of commercial aviation between the wars is highly sought after by aviation history enthusiasts. The illustrations of this 1936 series are real historical documents. They depict the era's technological highlights, such as the seaplanes of Pan American Airways or the Imperial Airways biplanes, just before World War II radically transformed global aviation. 19 pages with these 50 vignettes 2/ Wills's Cigarette Card Album (at the top): A large red hardcover album published by the famous British tobacco manufacturer W.D. & H.O. Wills. This type of rigid or semi-rigid cover binder was sold or offered to collectors to allow them to paste and carefully preserve different complete themed series of 50 cards. The visible peculiarity here is that the album has not been used for a single uniform collection. It is a montage of several different themed series, which was common when collectors inserted their duplicates or favorite cards.
