U.K. Subs - Another Kind Of Blues (UK) – Original 1979...

Very attractive original 1979 UK pressing of U.K. Subs' debut album Another Kind Of Blues, released on GEM Records under catalogue number GEMLP 100. This copy is especially desirable because it retains the original front-cover hype sticker advertising "Includes The Hit Singles 'Stranglehold' / 'C.I.D.' / 'Tomorrows Girls'" – wording that matches the original 1979 promotional campaign for the album. Contemporary advertising for Another Kind Of Blues specifically highlighted those three singles as the key selling point of the release. The album, released in September 1979, became one of the key records from the second wave of British punk, featuring classic U.K. Subs tracks such as "C.I.D.," "Tomorrows Girls," "I Live In A Car," "World War," "Crash Course" and "Stranglehold." This copy also retains the original printed card inner sleeve, which was supplied with original UK GEM editions. ⸻ Sleeve (VG+) The original sleeve remains very presentable with normal light signs of age and handling. Most importantly, the original hit-singles hype sticker remains clearly present on the front cover. The overall appearance is clean and attractive. Inner Sleeve Original printed card inner sleeve included. Vinyl (EX) The vinyl is in excellent condition with a strong original shine and only minimal signs of previous play. A very clean and attractive copy overall. ⸻ Details * UK pressing, 1979 * GEM Records GEMLP 100 * Original promotional hype sticker ("Includes The Hit Singles…") present * Original printed inner sleeve included
