Ugo Nespolo (1941) - senza titolo - tris

Every work is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Trained at the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts and graduated in Modern Letters in Turin, he made his debut in the sixties, moving alongside the searches of Arte Povera, then developing a wholly personal language indebted to the dynamism of Futurism and to the languages of American and European Pop Art. Renowned for the blend of "high art" and everyday culture, Nespolo rejects the limits of traditional painting, exploring experimental cinema, graphics, theatre, set design and design. His distinctive sign remains the inlay technique (wood and acrylic marquetry), in which shaped geometric forms, vivid colors and tight compositional rhythms transform the surface into a dynamic narrative puzzle, rich in irony, erudite quotations, and playful spirit. His works have been exhibited in prestigious museums and international institutions, from the Beaubourg in Paris to the National Gallery of Modern Art in Rome, making him a historic author and sought after by collectors and enthusiasts.
