Umbrella stand/rack - Golden metal magazine rack and...

Gold-plated metal magazine rack and umbrella stand in Art Deco and classical Regency style. This is a magazine rack-umbrella stand of eclectic style, with influences from Art Deco and ornamental classical furniture, characterized by its geometric structure, its gilded finish, and its decorative details. The piece features a tall, stylized metallic framework, with an architectural design of straight, slightly trapezoidal lines. The upper part, wider, stands out for its pierced ornamentation, formed by repetitive elements with geometric shapes and stepped motifs that provide visual rhythm and a stylized botanical inspiration. The gilded finish, with ochre tones and areas of wear, gives it an aged patina that enhances its decorative character. The lower structure, simpler and open, contrasts with the rich ornamental quality of the upper part, creating a balanced and visually light overall effect. The feet have widened decorative caps, inspired by classical motifs, recalling certain elements of traditional furniture. This combination of geometry, ornamentation, and gilding allows the piece to be associated with different decorative currents. Stylistic features: Art Deco: for the repetition of geometric motifs, the symmetrical composition, and the ornamental stylization. Ornamental classicism: for the foot finishes and the decorative conception of the structure. Vintage aesthetic: for the design and the aged gilded finish. Eclectic influence: for the mix of geometric elements and details inspired by classical styles.
