For sale is this beautiful, charming miniature teddy bear from a bygone era. Thanks to its fine proportions, the pronounced snout, and the characteristic workmanship, it likely originates from the first half or mid-20th century (about the 1930s to 1950s) and strongly resembles the classic designs of traditional German manufacturers like Schuco or Hermann. A manufacturer label or button is no longer present. Condition: The little bear is in an age-appropriate, played-with vintage condition with beautiful patina. The mohair fur has suffered over the decades and shows the typical thinner areas, which gives it a very special, authentic character. The felt soles are intact (one sole has a tiny hole, see photos).
