Unearthed - wendy smith

Unearthed by wendy smith Painting 39.4 x 26.0 :: 'Unearthed' has an earthy application with layers of colour an abstract response to being in the landscape by a tidal river. I work directly with the materials E.g. mud vegetation and the canvases are placed in the landscape to absorb and respond to the essence atmosphere and materiality of place. The paintings develop from these distressed canvases exploring the fluidity layering and ebb and flow of tidal changes. :: Type: Painting Medium: Acrylic Style: Abstract Subject: Landscape Width: 39.4 Height: 26.0 Depth: 3 Weight: 4 lbs Framed: no :: All art on Zatista is original and signed.
