Vase - Slender Vase

A Work of Light and Glassmastery for Your Collection! Add a piece of authentic Venetian craftsmanship history to your furnishings with this spectacular column vase in glass. Characterized by a slender, elegant form, the piece captivates with its extraordinary artisan workmanship: a dynamic vortex of white milk filaments that rise along the translucent body, culminating in a chromatically intense summit in cobalt blue/turquoise. The workmanship recalls the prestigious traditional techniques of Filigree and Zanfirico, where glass canes are fused and hand blown by master glassmakers to create fluid, unique geometric motifs. The visual effect conveys great lightness and dynamism, ideal for enriching modern, minimalist interiors or for featuring in collections dedicated to Italian Glass Design. To guarantee its authenticity, the vase retains at the base the famous branded label "Vetri Murano", a highly recognizable element for international collectors that attest to its direct origin from the historic Murano furnaces on the island. An unmissable chance to acquire a signed piece of rare elegance and increasing value on the collectibles market. The label on the piece belongs to the collective brand established in 1977 by the most prestigious Murano furnaces (including Barovier & Toso, Venini, Salviati, Formia, Carlo Moretti and others) to protect, certify, and promote the authenticity of Murano blown glass against foreign imitations. Behind this vase lies the centuries-old tradition of the Murano glassblowing masters. The filigree technique, perfected in Venice since the 16th century, requires extremely high technical skill during the blowing and hot shaping phase. Murano art glass is recognized worldwide and is exhibited in the world’s leading decorative arts museums (such as the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and the Corning Museum of Glass in New York). Dimensions: approximately 38 x 7.5 x 7.5 cm Excellent cosmetic condition, shows small signs of use and age; please refer to the photo gallery
