Description: This coin commemorates the Sede Vacante, the period between the end of a pontificate and the election of a new Pope. At the center is depicted the coat of arms of Cardinal Kevin Joseph Farrell, Camerlengo of the Holy See, responsible for managing the Holy See’s assets during the interregnum. Surmounted by the umbraculum and the crossed keys, symbols of papal power awaiting the new Pontiff, the coat of arms evokes the solemnity and continuity of the Church. In the crown is the dove, symbol of the Holy Spirit, invoked to guide the cardinals in discerning God’s will for the choice of the new Pope. The coin pays homage to the Camerlengo’s role in the most delicate moments of ecclesial life. Shipping: Fast and trackable shipping is provided. For purchases outside Italy, please note that payment of customs duties may be required, which remains the buyer’s responsibility. The seller assumes no responsibility for delays in these shipments caused by non-payment of customs duties or by delays in delivery times attributable to the postal service or parcel delivery service of the respective country.
