Herewith offered a beautiful, almost flawless, press-glass Art Deco smoked vase with pique-fleur inlay designed by Rudolf Schrötter and manufactured by Verreries de Scailmont, originating from Belgium, from the period 1920-1930. This handsome smoky-glass vase features a distinctive Art Deco decor with a diamond pattern, elegant facets, and a wavy/serrated rim standing on an octagonal base. This vase is very rarely found with an undamaged pique-fleur. The vase is marked on the bottom with 'Fait en Belgique'. The vase is virtually in pristine condition, only some aging traces directly at the footring. There are no chips, flakes, cracks, or calcification. The pique-fleur is also in pristine condition.
