Alla auktioner / Vin & Sprit / Veuve Clicquot - Champagne Brut - 1 Magnum (1.5L)
Please note this is a professional seller, with ‘Pro’ next to the username. The bottle you receive may have a different number than the one displayed. Condition will be identical.] The Brut Carte Jaune is a reflection of the style of the house Veuve Clicquot. The dominance of Pinot Noir ensures the typical structure of the wines of the Reims house, while a slight touch of Pinot Meunier completes the round. Chardonnay gives it the elegance and finesse necessary for the perfect balance of a vintage resulting from an assemblage of about 50 to 60 different crus. The traditional structure of the Brut Carte Jaune vintage is composed of 50 to 55% Pinot Noir, 15 to 20% Pinot Meunier and 28 to 33% Chardonnay. The blend includes a particularly high percentage of reserve wines from several harvests (5 to 6 on average): from 25 to 35%, sometimes up to 40% to ensure the durability of the Veuve Clicquot style. These reserve wines, the oldest of which are up to nine years old, are kept individually, respecting the origin of the wines and years. The Yellow Card Veuve Clicquot displays a very beautiful dress, with golden yellow reflections, and a plentiful and fine foam. This Brut has a powerful nose, initially fruity (white fruits, dried fruits), then vanilla and brioche. In the mouth, the attack is frank and dynamic, then gives way to a fruity harmony. The wine has a certain structure, which ranks it in the family of structured and vinous Bruts. The Yellow Card Veuve Clicquot is distinguished by its remarkable aromatic persistence, and its notes both fruity and spicy.
