Vintage Box Chain Necklace in Yellow Gold, 70 cm Long, 2nd Half of the Century

The box link pattern is also called Venetian chain, after its Venetian origin. This type of chain has rectangular links that interlock in a cube shape. Due to the solidity of the links, Venetian chains appear more closed, almost geometric, and have beautiful polished surfaces. This is just such a yellow gold chain. The vintage chain from German production shines in a rich gold tone and features the classic Venetian pattern. It can be worn on its own or with a beautiful pendant. At 70.0 cm long and around 1.8 mm wide, it can be combined with many pendants. We found the necklace here in Berlin. It is in very good condition.
