vintage "Crown 190SEL" – Design calandre chromée inspiré de Mercedes-Benz – c

Rare vintage table fan "Crown 190SEL" – Chrome grille design inspired by Mercedes-Benz – c. 1970-1980 This vintage table fan from the famous Crown brand (model Super Deluxe) is an absolute rarity from the late 1970s. It was designed as a striking homage to the luxury sedans of the era, borrowing many automotive aesthetic codes from Mercedes. • The centerpiece emblem: The front Plexiglas console proudly bears a gold inscription "190SEL", directly referencing the famous line of Mercedes-Benz prestige sedans 190. This badge is topped with a heraldic baroque shield. The heavy base of the unit perfectly mimics a chrome car grille, complemented on either side by two translucent yellow headlight lenses characteristic of cars of the era. An ideal and highly sought-after decorative item to dress a showroom, a restoration workshop, a high-end garage or the office of a German brand aficionado. In very good condition, Just one small detail: it sometimes requires a little minute of patience at startup to fully get going (a small tap on the back wakes the motor instantly if needed). Timer not functioning, but runs very well continuously. Dimensions: 54cm×23cm×19cm Weight: 3 kilos
