The item is white, and on top sits the official Vitra emblem, and underneath the decorative object is signed. This Vitra Elephant was originally designed in the early 1940s by Charles and Ray Eames. By the time Charles and Ray Eames spent many years developing and refining a technique for bending three-dimensional shapes from plywood and plywood sheets.
