Vitra - Charles & Ray Eames - Lounge chair with ottoman...

Eames Lounge Chair XL – Santos Palisander & chocolate-colored leather A design doesn’t have to be loud to define a space. The Eames Lounge Chair is a perfect example of that. Designed by Charles & Ray Eames and grown to become one of the most recognizable armchairs in design history, this is a chair where form, material and comfort come together. This edition is the XL version, with a shell in Santos Palisander and upholstered in chocolate-colored leather. It is precisely that combination that gives the chair a warm and understated look. The wood adds character and depth, while the leather gives the armchair a timeless, comfortable appearance. The XL edition offers a more generous seat and reinforces the character of the design without losing sight of the original design intent.
