Votive plaque - Jesus among the Doctors - 25 x 25 cm - Canvas - 1750-1800

Formella or predella from the mid-18th century and painted in oil on canvas. This is the lower panel of a polyptych or an altarpiece, often divided into small panels with stories and secondary scenes connected to the main painting. This depicts the scene of Christ among the Doctors, with very slight losses in the paint and set within a wooden frame of a later period and part of a series of other pieces all in my possession. The overall size is 25 x 25 cm, with canvas-only measurements of 20 x 20 cm. Due to current regulations, it cannot be shipped outside the European Union.
