Luxurious Spanish-made walking stick from 1917, crafted with opaque amber for the handle and walnut for the shaft, joined by a bright 18-carat gold band. The handle is made from a rare opaque amber, also called bone amber or fossil resin, considered a semi-precious stone highly valued for its color and beauty. The shaft is smooth and straight, of natural-toned walnut wood. Both parts are joined by a 18-carat gold band engraved with the following inscription: “Paquito a su Salvador. Dr. J. Megias 3 - 1 - 917”. There is also a contrast between the gold and a fine feather design next to the screws that close the band, of which the upper one is missing.
