Wall decoration (4) - Bullfighting - Spain - Goyescas Impressions (after)

Set of four mid-20th-century prints inspired by the famous series **La Tauromaquia** by Francisco de Goya, presented in glazed wood frames that enhance their traditional and decorative character. The engravings depict different bullfighting scenes full of movement and drama, faithful to the spirit of the Goya work, where the confrontation between man and bull becomes an intense exercise in tension, risk, and expressiveness. Made in sepia and black tones on paper aged by the passage of time, they show dynamic compositions in which toreros, picadors and cattle appear captured with the energy and stroke characteristic of the Aragonese master. The atmosphere of the images, marked by strong contrasts and barely suggested backgrounds, conveys the emotion of the bullfighting spectacle and the narrative strength that distinguished the original prints published in the 19th century. The wooden frames, with simple lines and a warm finish, harmoniously accompany the set and underscore its vintage aesthetic. The paper presents a natural patina and slight signs of aging that add authenticity and decorative charm. For its deeply Spanish theme and its link to one of Goya’s most emblematic graphic series, these four prints constitute an attractive set for both graphic art collectors and for those seeking a classic decor with historical and cultural personality.
