Spanish born and Geneva trained, Schluep emigrated to Montreal, opened Montreal boutique in 1964.His innovative bold and stylish designs reflect the subconscious and compulsive. An avant-garde artist of the 1960’s and 1970's. Walter Schluep is recognized worldwide for his contribution to the Modernist and Modern Art movement. Walter Schluep worked alongside notable jewelers such as Gabriel Lucas, George Delrue, and Hans Gehrig while exhibiting extensively.
