His work is distinguished by reusing iconic imagery through accumulations of dots, paying homage to art history and to popular figures he admires. His works often have an abstract first reading that becomes figurative depending on the distance from which you view them. He likes the idea that each person who observes his works does not necessarily see the same thing, but above all he enjoys playing with the observer’s eye. By diverting certain masterworks, he aims to reacquaint them with the general public and invites them to explore art history in a playful, modern, and democratic way.
