Wedgwood Glazed Creamware Creamer

This Wedgwood glazed creamware creamer features a baluster-shaped body with a flared, pinched pouring spout and a high arched handle. The exterior is hand-painted in sepia tones with Neo-classical motifs. A laurel leaf swag band encircles the shoulder, while the rim is finished with a geometric border of dots and scallops. The handle and stepped foot are outlined with sepia banding. The base features several provenance stickers including a 1984 Hammond Museum label, a Rubin Collection sticker, a BS Collection (Jacobs) sticker numbered 258, and a 1994 Skinner auction tag for Lot 10.
