A beautiful piece of German camera history from the interwar period. Pre-war Welta Perle medium-format folding camera, manufactured by Welta in Freital, Germany. Executed with a Weltar Anastigmat 105 mm f/6.3 lens and a classic Prontor central shutter. Sturdy metal folding camera with black covering, expandable bellows and a characteristic Art Deco look. The Welta name is clearly embossed on the back. Weltar Anastigmat 105 mm f/6.3, a classic lens configuration commonly found on Welta’s 6×9 cameras from this period. Prontor with visible T, B, 1/25, 1/50, 1/100 and 1/125 sec. Diaphragm scale up to f/18 visible. Equipped with a small fold-out/bright finder near the lens as well as a fold-out frame finder on the side.
