I wanted to capture the fleeting moment when light wind and sea merge into one. The vastness of the beach the play of the clouds and the movement of the waves inspired me to capture this special moment. By painting en plein air I was able to authentically convey the immediate atmosphere and freshness of the landscape onto the canvas.
