Collier Sorcière – La Sourcière et son Chat Noir – Haute Magie et Indépendance. A sapphire-blue necklace revealing the Witch and her black cat, a symbol of freedom of conscience and an ancestral connection with the primal forces. A high spiritual symbol, the witch embodies the emancipated human being, resistant to politico-religious influences in order to remain deeply linked to her original nature. She is, in fact, the Sourcière: the one who remembers origins, traces knowledge back to its source, and preserves freedom of thought. At the heart of the spiritual world, the sky evokes the spirit and flight symbolizes mastery of consciousness. The uniqueness of the witch’s flight lies in her sacred vehicle: the broom is both a staff of power and a tool of purification. It serves to wash the mind of the absurd state culture she was forced to ingest, to make room for the direct vision of reality. Beside her, the black cat expresses independence and the discovery of what remains hidden, endowed with the unique power to see clearly in the middle of the night. In the collective imagination of the Western world, witches ride their broom at night, accompanied by their faithful companion. The broom attributed to witches would be the heritage of those made by ancient Druids with broomwood, a variety to which people attributed magical powers. The ordinariness of this everyday tool allowed the adherents of the old religion to conceal their rural rituals. In secret, the witches transformed it into a vehicle of spiritual flight through incantations. Wearing this emblem of the Sourcière revives the secret pact that links spirit to the wild nature. This talisman accompanies those who follow their own path, dispelling hatred and keeping their course illuminated by the light of origins. Dimensions: - necklace length: 56 cm. - weight: 22.6 g. - beads: 0.45 cm in diameter (approx). - Sourcière medallion in ornate golden metal: 5 x 4.3 cm (excluding the clasp). History & Secrets of the Symbol: - The Sourcière — The Memory of Origins Heiress of pagan priestesses and rural healers, the figure of the witch symbolizes the preservation of ancestral knowledge. She embodies the ability to draw knowledge from its original source, preserving the integrity of rural memory in the face of the passage of centuries. - The Broom of Genêt — The Walking Staff Derived from ancient Druidic customs where broomwood was used to shape ritual brooms, this tool symbolizes cleansing of the mind. Its flight through the sky represents the act of sweeping away imposed beliefs to regain the clarity of origins. - The Black Cat — The Guardian of the Night Guardian of invisible secrets and an inseparable companion of occult folklore, the black cat embodies sacred independence. Capable of piercing total darkness, the feline symbolizes sharpened intuition and the revelation of concealed mysteries. - The Sapphire — The Azure of the Wise Sacred gem of oracles and sages since Antiquity, the Sapphire bears the deep blue of celestial vaults. Ancient lapidaries celebrate its ability to strengthen intuition, calm the mind and ward off hatred. Its presence fosters deep peace and quiet strength in daily life. The clichés were created under LED lighting using dedicated photographic equipment to accurately reproduce the details, reliefs, and nuances of the object. Some gemstones may be subjected to traditional treatments intended to enhance their color or transparency. No specific gemological examination has been performed on this piece.
