XL best quality "JIKHARRA 001" (Libya

The specimen of this lot is a large, complete piece of eucrite found in Libya in 2022, officially named Jikharra 001. In it we can appreciate its brecciated lithology already at the surface, of great beauty, being a recrystallized eucrite. The lithic clasts consist of calcic plagioclase and aggregates of fine-grained plagioclase crystals. Thanks to studies, it has been confirmed that HED meteorites (Howardites, Eucrites, and Diogenites) originate from the asteroid Vesta, therefore they are differentiated rocky meteorites, i.e., achondrites. It is a complete piece of good size and shape, excellent to add to your collection or to slice. Size and quality for a great collection. Do not miss this opportunity! We are members of the major international associations related to meteorites, therefore we guarantee for life the authenticity of all our meteorites and jewelry made from this material.
